Issued by a credit card provider, credit cards are accepted worldwide in several places within your home country and abroad and hence can be very handy. Carrying huge amount of cash in your purse is always a risk, and even in case of debit cards, if it is used by a third person, you lose money from your account instantly. But, in case of credit cards, even when somebody uses the card fraudulently, you will not lose money from your account. You just have to notify your bank about the wrong transaction made immediately.
